The goal of the PhoenixProtocol is to provide the tools necessary to build CREW, the "Cross-Disciplinary Research Exchange Workspace".
For this purpose three different software tools are utilized:
- Flarum for asynchronous discussion / all that must persist
- Matrix for real time discussions
- Forgejo for documents, code and so on.
This should be sufficient to bootstrap development without relying on big tech (e.g. GitHub or similar), as outlined in "S - Sovereign".
PhoenixProtocol is only to be utilized until the first working and usable version of CREW becomes available.
Once CREW is created and ready to be released into the wild, PhoenixProtocol will cease to exist - for it will have fulfilled its purpose.
It may be the first big upload to the CREW network.
